here are some notes about different aspects of the experience

time, energy, and exchange

for me to offer the service, it's important to me that I can convey generosity of effort and care. I create an environment for even the most tentative receivers to connect with their experience and communicate exactly what they want

guided by that mindset, I prefer to keep only loose track of time, unless the receiver needs to keep a schedule

Thai or Swedish

while I have some services listed below, we can also craft a bespoke experience. If you'd like Swedish or deep tissue (nude on a table with a sheet, lotion, and all that), I'm perfectly capable at the style, just not having a table of my own

when and where

for now, I'm accepting booking requests via fly@davidmcgrath.com. if you happen to have my personal contact info, you can use that too

I can host or travel. if I go to you, keep in mind that we'll need enough floor space for my travel mat, which is about the size of 3 yoga mats side-by-side. a clear 8 foot square is ideal

the goal here is to do a full sequence and also ask about additional or repeat areas after that, until the receiver feels complete in the experience. while in any option, I want the receiver to ask for exactly what they want (pressure, areas, anything) this is the one, if any, where they will feel for sure that that is the purpose

of course there is some maximum time, about 2 hours, but it could even be a bit longer based on need. if the receiver claims to feel complete before an hour and a half, I'll gently question them on if they are in tune with and communicating what they want

set sequence. still focused more on a natural finish than a specific time limit, targeting 1 hour - 1 hour and a half

this is essentially the first part of an "until we're done" session

2-3 areas of focused care, with some additional nice touches all over to complete the experience. targeting 45 minutes - 1 hour

this is essentially the second part of an "until we're done" session

"I have been to the Durham massage four times and David has had the best technique. He used the perfect amount of lotion, pressure, and rhythm. I enjoyed when he pressed on the knots to remove them. He moved my arms around for reflex and stretching. That was nice. He had time to massage my scalp and face and that was a nice ending to the massage. The amount of lotion used was great and he never really paused to get more lotion but got it with one hand and kept massaging with the other. That was very nice. He has a calming voice and asked if the amount of pressure was okay. Overall, great massage. If he was graduated and working elsewhere I would request him over again."
